All painting students are responsible for coming to class prepared with the proper supplies. The required supplies consists of pencils, paints, brushes, erasers, and ruler. However, it is highly recommended that each student come to class equip with additional tools and supplies that will enhance and encourage a more productive, constructive, positive learning environment, and experience. Students need to bring appropriate attire (old t-shirt and jeans) to painting class.

- Water color set (8-colors)
- Acrylic starter kit (red, yellow, blue, black, brown, and white)
- Oil starter kit (red, yellow, blue, black, brown, and white) for middle school students
- Gesso paint
- 2 sets of paint brushes (a small set of brushes will be used for watercolors, another set of medium and large brushes will be used for acrylic and oil paints)
- Drawing pencils
- Colored pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- Watercolor paper pad
- Canvas (16 x 20 inches or any size available)
- Poster boards
- Eraser
- Ruler
